Pre_Shrunk
Band introduction
Pre_Shrunk are an amazing Melbourne band. Consisting of two bass players, a drummer and a shload of effect pedals and talent, they're well worth checking out. They have a new album, "Digital Sunrise" out very very soon. Read all about them at my "Home Bass" webpage. Also check out the official site and the excellent fan site Creation.

Regurgitator @ The Corner Hotel
Gig Review : Saturday 10th June 2000
I went to the Over 18's "Regurgitator" gig this weekend and had a ball. Not only were the supports excellent (ZooBombs are my band for show-people of the month) but Gurge impressed me by overcoming the lameness of "...Art" and re-arranging some old songs (Nothing To Say, Social Disaster, Polyester Girl) to make the evening something new, even of the sicko fans like me. For those who like setlists... Freshmint, Nothing To Say, I Like Your Old Stuff, I Love Tommy Mottola, Track 1, I Will Lick Your Arsehole, Everyday Formula, I Wanna Be A Nudist, Polyester Girl (remix), In One Ear and Out The Other, Ghost, Kong Foo Sing, Social Disaster (faux latin version), I Like Repetative Music, Modern Life, FSO, Happiness, G7 Dick, Black Bugs, !, Blubber Boy, Pop Porn, I Sucked a Lot Of Cock To Get Where I Am.

Also, check out this review from me-mate Dave, a Unit era fan of Gurge.

Grand Silent System
Band introduction
Another awesome Melbourne band is GSS. Drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, sampler, vocals and various woodwind/brass. From the ashes of ex-Melbourne band "Box", a nice mix of drum and bass, Mr Bungle, rock and soundtrack music. Check out Matt's new fan site, and be on the lookout for gigs near you.

Employment
My life and it's effect on the Aussie Dollar
For the last year I have been employed as an Internet Developer for Ericsson Software Services. Recently Ericsson IT decided to outsource and during these discussions I decided to look for a new position. Lucky for me because as of 10th July 2000 I will be a developer for "mp3.com.au". Excitement. Check out my music, Approximate, on that very site.
